About a dozen BPS members enjoyed a fun evening of dog agility on Wednesday – lots of fast happy dogs and slightly slower but hopefully just as happy photographers. Many thanks to Ele for organizing this outing.
Coming up next weekend on Saturday, David is leading a trip to Warstone Cemetery, in the Jewellery Quarter. Looks like it should be a lot of fun – see the email from David for details. Car sharing is probably a good idea, or better still why not go by train, either from Stourbridge (direct trains) or Bromsgrove station (change in New Street for a tram to the Jewellery Quarter). That’s what I’ll be planning to do…
Also next weekend there are various events on at Avoncroft Museum, including various re-enactors and other attractions – see https://avoncroft.org.uk/product/lammas-celebration-of-first-harvest for information. If anyone is planning to go, drop a note in the WhatsApp group and perhaps members can co-ordinate and meet up.
Further out, a new addition to the summer program is “Bike Night” on Droitwich High street on Thursday August 14th. Peter Marrs is organising a BPS visit there – more details nearer the time.
That’s all I have for now. As ever, keep an eye on the WhatsApp group, the website, and group emails for any late-breaking news on upcoming events.
Richard
