A quick one this week as I’m a bit under the weather.
Two summer programme activities this week – I was not able to attend either unfortunately, but I am sure both went well and were thoroughly enjoyed by those that did attend. Some interesting photos from the Cannock Chase trip have been posted on the WhatsApp group.
Next (and last) event on the summer programme is the stall on Bromsgrove High Street next Saturday. If anyone is able to pop along and assist in manning it for an hour or so it will make the time fly by. You never know, there might be an opportunity for a bit of street photography while you are there. Please let me or David know if you are planning to pop by, along with approximate times.
I say “last” event of the summer programme, but there’s no reason why we should not continue to schedule trips via the WhatsApp group for as long into the season as people want to carry on arranging them… It does get trickier to organize evening events as the nights get longer though.
Thoughts must now start turning to the new season, so I hope everyone is planning to rejoin us on September 2nd at Avoncroft Arts Centre for the traditional “open evening” that kicks off the season. There’s a fantastic programme of speakers, competitions and other sessions planned – see the website for details.
That’s it for now.
Richard
