Sorry to have missed the print competition last week. I’ve taken a look at the pictures on the website, and it looks like there were some splendid images on show. I can’t comment on the judging as I didn’t see it…
I think I must have been in holiday mode when I wrote last week’s email – the upcoming programme change I referred to is not this week but next week. This week is going ahead as planned with a presentation entitled “My Creative Journey” by Lynda Haney FBPE MPAGP EFIAP. Jan sent out an email last week with some information about what to expect, but I’ll copy it in here just in case anyone missed it:

We’ve got something very special to look forward to on Tuesday 21st October. The wonderfully talented Lynda Haney FBPE MPAGB EFIAP will be joining us via Zoom for her presentation, My Creative Journey – a talk that promises to be every bit as imaginative and inspiring as her award-winning photography.
Although she can’t be with us in person – it’s quite a distance to travel – Lynda is kindly giving up her time to deliver the talk completely free of charge, which is incredibly generous of her.
Lynda’s work is instantly recognisable: beautifully imaginative, rich in emotion, and full of technical mastery. She is a Fellow of the British Photographic Exhibitions, a Master of the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain, and holds the Excellence distinction from the Fédération Internationale de l’Art Photographique – accolades that speak volumes about her artistry and dedication.
You can explore her stunning portfolio at https://purpledaisy.uk/purple-daisy to get a taste of what’s in store.
It’s going to be an evening to remember – full of inspiration, imagination, and the joy of photography at its very best. We look forward to seeing you there!–
Ahead of that, there will be an early session “Basics of Lightroom” from Ele, starting at 7pm. Should be fun and informative.
See you all on Tuesday
Richard
