I hope everyone enjoyed last Tuesday’s sessions as much as I did. The evening started off with Jenny’s session on creative photography, which was very well received and hopefully inspired a few of you to try something new. The main session from Steve Rabone was truly superb – great images, great narrative, and the way that all the images came together into a cohesive themed project was brilliant. I certainly got some ideas for shots I’d like to try to imitate (and then innovate), as he suggested!
This Tuesday we have the 3rd PDI competition – Dennis has sent out more information about the judge, and please note his comments about needing to cut down the entry to no more than 3 images per entrant. Be sure to make the required changes ASAP, otherwise you may find that Dennis has to pick which image to remove for you.
Ahead of the competition, David J is running an early session – the website says the topic is TBC but I believe it’s going to be covering more information about getting away from auto mode – why, when and how, and what you need to know to be able to make more intentional decisions about camera settings.
