By all accounts the model night on Tuesday was a great success – I am sorry to have missed it but it looks like the old rule of thumb that if I miss a session, it’s going to be a good one, is back in play.
I’ve seen some of the photos and video from the session and it looks like Rosie Lea was a great model, so huge thanks to Mark Bennett and Colin Close for their parts in arranging the evening. Remember to send Rosie images via the email address Colin has provided.
Coming up this week we have a “Practical evening”, which will be similar to the one last October, with experts available at various tables to offer advice on whatever topics come up that people want to talk about. We are a little thin on the ground on the “experts” side at present, with David signed up to talk about all things Affinity, Den talking about all things photoshop, and me talking about all things Lightroom – these subjects are just a guide though, and I’m sure any of us are happy to try to deal with any questions that come up on any topic. If anyone has anything they would particularly like to see covered, please let us know in advance in case any research or props are needed. Even better, if anyone feels able to add their names to the list of “experts” to cover any topics not mentioned above, that would be greatly appreciated.
There will also be a sales table, so bring along any unwanted photographic equipment to see if it can find a new home. No early session, so I’ll be opening up around 7:45
Finally, a reminder to change the date/time settings on your cameras to account for BST!
Richard
