After a shaky start, where it seemed everything was destined to go wrong, we had a great evening last week for the Annual Open competition. A really high standard of images, and an excellent judge giving really useful feedback on all images. We even managed to finish ALMOST on time – I’m sorry about having to rush everyone in the break!
You will all be pleased to hear that the projector cupboard that we had to break into at the start of the evening is now repaired (thanks Nick!).
Coming up this week we have an inter-club competition, where we host Stourport Camera Club. Last year’s competition was really tightly fought – though we came away winners in the end – so it should be another good evening. David J has sent out details of the images that were selected to represent BPS. The judge is Tom Swallow.
As usual on inter-club nights there will be a raffle, so bring some spare change. Better still, here will be no charge for refreshments this week, so that should free up some cash for extra raffle tickets!
There will be no early session. I look forward to seeing you all there on Tuesday.
