I don’t know about anyone else, but I’ve been too hot this week to think much about getting out and taking photos (or doing pretty much anything else, to be honest). Perhaps it was just as well that there was a gap in the summer programme!
Normal service should resume next week, both in the weather and in the BPS events calendar, with a trip on Tuesday organised by Steve – setting off from the Navigation Inn in Stoke prior, and walking either along the canal or in the nearby Harris woodland. Steve will I’m sure be sending out more details shortly…
This weekend just gone was a Forties weekend at the Severn Valley Railway – always good for some pictures of re-enactors – but don’t worry if you missed it, there will be another one next weekend July 4th and 5th. If anyone fancies organising a meetup, let me know!
Peter Marrs has posted details in the WhatsApp group of another car meet at Droitwich Rugby Club, tomorrow evening at 6pm. With over 400 show vehicles expected, this is set to be another big meet. From cherished British classics and iconic sports cars to retro favourites and modern classics, there’ll be something for every car enthusiast to enjoy. The weather looks far more sensible too! Unfortunately Peter can’t make it himself so there’s no official BPS outing planned, unless someone wants to take it on…
