Several members enjoyed the vintage car rally at Droitwich last Monday – better weather than last time! Some good photos were posted on the WhatsApp group.
On Tuesday, another group met up for a canal walk then pub in Hanbury – I think they managed to dodge the rain.
If you are on the WhatsApp group you will have seen information from Steve about a Curry Night he is organising – it’s looking like it may be in October though, as a lot of members seem to be away at the moment,
Speaking of members being away, there’s a bit of a gap in the calendar of Summer Programme events as listed on the website, with nothing currently planned until August! Seems a shame, and hopefully a few volunteers will step forward to lead groups in the next week or two – watch this space (and the website, and the WhatsApp group). I know it’s a bit tricky dodging the heatwaves, rainstorms, holidays, tennis matches, and football to find a time that enough people want to go out to make a trip worthwhile.
