BPS early sessions for the 2019-20 season

Our programme this year will feature the Roger Lewis Foundation Course run by Rebekah Nash and Michelle Chance, covering the following

  • Camera settings to include lens settings, ISO, aperture, shutter speed
  • Rule of thirds, composition
  • Types of photography
  • Windows and Macs
  • From Camera to PC/laptop
  • Basic Photoshop ready for competitions

Tony Gervis will also present a series of talks on many various topics and David Jellie will present occasional practical advice sessions on topics such as print mounting. All sessions are flexible to allow for the commitments of the presenters, however, members will be advised of the schedule well in advance

These sessions are aimed primarily at those starting in photography and for those who want to expand their existing basic knowledge, although all are welcome. We start at 7 pm on the stage area and finish approximately 7.45 pm for the start of the main programme. This programme is flexible and may change if a particular subject needs covering.
