I have been a serious photographer for the last 25 years or so. I am always wanting to tackle new subjects, styles and techniques. My favourite at the moment is Documentary /Journalistic street photography. From time to time I give presentations where I share my experiences, some of which have been quite amusing. 

I enjoy judging and took up the required training and study because my wife got fed up with me moaning about how I had been ‘robbed’ by judges. My judging style is to share what I observe and offer ideas; I do so, not as an exceptional photographer, but as one who visits galleries, exhibitions and looks at pictures more often than reading words.
