How to find the © on your computer

MAC

Press and hold Alt+G then release

Windows PC with numeric keypad

Press and hold Alt and type 0169 on the numeric pad

Windows laptop with no numeric keypad

Press and hold down ALT+Fn and type the number 0169 while holding down AL.

Note:

1. Windows Word and Excel have access to a large number of symbols in the top ribbon menu under “Insert” and to the right hand side where there is a Ω.
2. There is also a method of accessing the Windows Character Map
   1. Windows 10 – bottom left enter “Character Map” into the “Type here to search box”. Click on the desired symbol.
   2. Windows 7 – Click on the Start button then click in the search box as above.
