Something a little different last week on practical night – I hope everyone found something of interest. Our visiting artist seems to have had a very good response with members queuing up to share their photos and memories! For anyone that was interested in my system for scanning old photos and negatives, remember that I am happy to scan members’ images (in moderate quantities) so bring them along if you have any.
This coming Tuesday we have two exciting events to look forward to. In the early session from 7pm, David Jellie will present a talk on basic photo editing “Five Basic Editing Tools You Should Know”. See his email for more information.
Then at 8pm the main event is our first print competition of the season, judged by Aleks Gjika EFIAP DPAGB. If the quality of entries in the last competition is anything to go by, he will have a tricky evening! Hopefully the evening will be free of any Pixoroo gremlins – but if there are any, we’ll have the perfect opportunity to report them to the author – Aleks Gjika.
