Hi all

Well done to all our competition entrants in the Annual Novice Print and PDI competition. We had a large entry with an abundance of quality entries – congratulations to all the successful images.

It has been a very successful week for some of our members. Peter Young can now add Hon PAGB to his name after being awarded the J S Lancaster Medal for exceptional service to the PAGB. Jenny Webster has been successful with her ARPS panel – we had the pleasure of seeing this excellent work in a recent presentation from Jenny. Well done to both of you.

We have two events to look forward to on Tuesday evening. Rebekah Nash will present the final part of the Roger Lewis Foundation Course at 7-00 pm. This will be followed at 8-00 pm with Mongolia – from the landscape to eagle hunters – presented by Julian Elliott. We don’t often see images from that region of the world and this promises to be a fascinating evening.

A final request please. it has come to our attention that some of our recorded lectures on Youtube have been shared outside of our membership. We are fortunate that most of our presenters and judges are happy for us to allow recording of our meetings, but it is essential that this privilege is not abused. This is purely for the benefit of our members. I know that the incidence of this happening is very low, but the reputation of our society is at stake. Many thanks.

See you all on Tuesday

David
