Sorry to be a bit late this week We returned last night from a visit to our daughter in London. It is just so good to do some normal things again.
Well done to everyone who received an award in our annual awards night last week. The first half was especially good with an audio visual presentation of our members’ works entered in the competitions throughout the season. Well done to Nigel for putting such an entertaining evening together.
This week we start our summer season. We have a presentation on Zoom from Bruce Hammersley – entitled Dogs and Strangers. In the second half there will also be time to discuss the rest of our summer season with proposed events and outings. Currently, there is still some doubt on the easing of lockdown restrictions and we will always comply with any of these requirements. I’m hoping that we will get a chance to meet our new members in person for the first time, along with offering support and advice to any members who request it.
