09.04.2023 Vocal Point

Another sunny but chilly morning , great for getting out with your camera and I hope you have all been inspired to do so .Firstly what a competition on Tuesday night , we saw some excellent work from our Novices .The judge was very impressed . I was very proud to see such work from our members , it certainly makes all the efforts we put in to the programme well worth while when we see what it has inspired . Worthy winners , very well done to them and to each of you that entered .Entering can be daunting ,but you get very useful advice and a different set of eyes on your work ,which is very valuable .

This week we have Tony G at 7pm which will be an entertaining session as always .

“As a member of Worcester Camera club, I was invited with 7 other members to participate in a “Photo Challenge” presentation ,each of us being given a subject out of our comfort zone and to last 20 minutes. My given gendre was “FINE ART”. What I knew about fine art could be written on the back of a stamp and still left room for The Lord’s Prayer.Tuesday’s early session is the presentation I gave, which took me 5 weeks to prepare telling and showing just how I went about it and the results. Some you will like , others you may not, one thing is almost certain, it will be different.”

Followed at 8pm by Steve Clifford .

“My Photo Album – A collection of my images (Landscape, People, Sport, Nature and a few Composites) with the emphasis on taking pictures for yourself”.

Can I just remind all that tea/coffee is  £1 , which means the tea money should add up to a round amount !!

Entries are open for Open section Annual Competition.

Still time to join us on committee and help make a difference to your club.

See you all on Tuesday ,
