Hi all

A little bit late this week. The weekend was hectic (nothing photographic) – work, Father’s Day and a 5 mile cross country run – my other hobby.

What a shame that Chaddesley Woods was such a wash-out. Let’s hope for good weather at Upton Warren tomorrow night. It’s an excellent opportunity for sports photography as the dinghies should be out sailing. Also for our Nature Photographers, there should be plenty of opportunities to photograph birds with young, insects and other nature subjects. Off course there will much general pictorial interest also.

Now is the time of year to get out and take what chances we get to grab some shots. As Mike has told you we have the coach trip coming up on Sunday 21 July. An excellent opportunity to visit the pictorial Cotswolds and the historic city of Oxford. Let’s hope for a big turnout.

Back to the subject of running. Outdoor photography is an excellent way of staying fit. We all tend to carry a variable amount of heavy gear and it is amazing how much distance you will cover without realising it. What could be better – doing our favourite hobby and staying fit at the same time.

Anyway, that’s all for know. Hope to see you all at Upton Warren tomorrow.

Best wishes

David
