Hi all
What a good night we had at Avoncroft on Tuesday and a good turnout. At times the weather was so overcast that we had to increase the ISO significantly, but overall we had enough kind light to produce some good results. Our male model Mark was relatively inexperienced but is likely to go far in the future. Our female model Shaleema was absolutely stunning and a joy to work with. I for one would be very happy to see her at one of our studio nights.
This week we are visiting Kidderminster canal – please see Mike’s email for further details. The weather forecast looks good, so let’s hope for a good turnout. Photos, a chat and maybe some liquid refreshment afterwards- what more could you ask for? AND FREE
Looking forward to the following week 9 July, we have our summer BBQ at Jenny Webster’s gardens. Jenny has kindly offered to supply most of the food. There will be some soft drinks and wine provided, but please feel free to bring along any of your favourites. We will also have the use of Jenny’s hides on the evening, so it is also a time to bring along your camera. One small suggestion – whilst we will provide some “glasses” it may be a good idea to bring along your own receptacles for drinks to minimise any waste on the night.
I see that a few people have been to the 1940’s event at Severn Valley Railway this weekend. This will also be repeated next weekend and is an ideal occasion to get some “period” shots.
