We held our High Street promotion in Bromsgrove Market on a very soggy Saturday. Understandably, footfall was light on the ground but we had several members of the public who showed great interest in our Society. I have no doubt that we will see a number of new faces at our Open Evening. Many thanks to the many members who supported us on the day and participated in setting up and dismantling our display
We also took the opportunity to launch our 2022 Bromsgrove Photographic Society Calendar. This contains some stunning nature images from 12 of our members and would be the perfect addition to someone’s wall in 2022. We have already sold a number of calendars to the general public and it is now available to BPS members. These will be on sale at our forthcoming meetings at a price of £7 each or £12 for 2. If you, or any of your friends would like a copy beforehand, then please contact me.
Our Open Evening takes place at Avoncroft Arts Centre on 31 August at 8-00 pm. We will be displaying our work through prints and a PDI display, alongside a range of our studio and other equipment. We will also run our popular sales table of photography related items. It will be a good chance to introduce prospective new members to the benefit of joining Bromsgrove Photographic Society.
We have our final Summer outing this week to Tardebigge Church and canal. The light fades quickly at this time of year but fingers crossed for a good sunset over Bromsgrove.
