This is an exciting time of the year for Bromsgrove Ps. There is so much happening at the minute.
Our new season will get started on 31 August with an Open Night. We are actively making our final decisions as to how our meetings will operate at Avoncroft under coronavirus conditions, and as to how these meetings can be made available to members who would prefer not to attend. We have a committee meeting on Monday of this week and we will update you with our decisions after that.
We are currently planning an extensive calendar of early sessions before the meetings for the purpose of improving the skills of all our photographers – mainly (but not exclusively) for our more novice members. Further details will follow soon.
We are running our High Street promotion on Saturday 21 August. We will be there from 9-30 to 4-30 including setting up and dismantling. If you are available to help even for a couple of hours at any time, then please let me know. The exact location is still to be confirmed.
We have updated the shop front display in the High Street. Our new stands have been removed as these are needed for the Saturday event, and the start of our new season. There are new display posters in the window.
We are likely to be having a display in Bromsgrove Library. More information will follow.
It’s a great time to be a member of this wonderful society and we have a lot to look forward to in the new season.
I hope to see you all at our canal walk on Tuesday evening.
