Hi all

I just back from a very enjoyable and tiring weekend on the North Devon coast. One of my aims had been to practice some long-exposure photography on water movement. A lovely idea that didn’t factor in gale force winds we experienced – impossible to keep the tripod still – best-laid plans and all that. Never mind some good shots were taken despite all that.

Well done to everyone who entered the 2nd Print competition last week. The standard was high in all sections and our judge Peter Siveter was very constructive in his adjudication and advice.

This week we have had an enforced change to our programme. Initially, it had been set aside for the Midland Bank trophy, however, there are no other clubs participating to allow this to take place. We have decided to run a viewing of the Cwm Rhondda Battle – an international interclub competition for 26 clubs including Bromsgrove. This will be projected in the hall at Avoncroft for the majority of members who will be attending. It will also be available on Zoom for those who are unable to attend.

See you all on Tuesday

Best wishes

David
