Happy Easter everyone

I know that for many of you, Easter marks the most important time of the year. This year it also seems to mark the change from a year of tragedy and major changes to our lifestyles, to the promise of better times to come. We can all hope for better times ahead whilst being conscious of how valuable our health and freedoms are.

Last week we continued with our high standard of entry into our print competitions. It was the first time that Bob Goode had judged for us and I’m sure we could all appreciate his adjudication and advice.

We are in for another treat this week. Our very own Tony Gervis FRPS. Tony has presented to us in the past with some excellent images from around the world always accompanied with sound advice on how to improve our own images. His presentation this week is based on a very busy year travelling in 2019 – it promises to be as entertaining as ever.

Whilst we have a busy time ahead it is also time to look to our AGM and the next photographic year in 2021-22. You will have received advance notice of our AGM. If you feel that we can take steps to improve on Bromsgrove PS, now is the time to make your feelings known. We have never believed in standing still and I’m sure that you agree that we have adapted to the challenges of coronavirus lockdown in a strong and progressive manner. Your committee has made this society successful under adverse conditions, but we always need new blood and new ideas.

See you all Tuesday

Best wishes

David
