Last Tuesday we were treated to our homegrown talent with presentations by Richard Chapman, Colin Close and Tony Gervis. It was a night to inspire us to try out new ideas. Alternatively, new could mean old, with ideas on how to use classic lenses from the analog days. If you didn’t get a chance to attend live on or Zoom, then please remember that the presentations are available on Youtube.
This week we have our first Print Competition of the year – Mono and Nature. Our judge will be Terry Livesey LRPS. It will be the first time that Terry has attended Bromsgrove PS and we should look forward to a new judge at our club. Terry is based in Kidderminster and his work can be viewed at https://www.terryliveseyphotography.co.uk/
Good luck to everyone who has entered prints for this week.
Finally – jumping ahead to the following week, we will be having a practical night at Avoncroft. A bit part of the practical night is to try your hand at something new. Please let me know if there are any interests that you feel would be suitable for these nights. We always are looking for ideas on how to make this relevant for you.
See you all on Tuesday
