There aren’t many weeks left in the season now, but we still have some major entertainment to come. The David Keep event is just around the corner on 3rd May. Remember, we would like some of your prints to create a display on the evening. If you haven’t done so already, then – this Tuesday – please bring along one or two prints for display at the presentation.
Also, it is not too late to get tickets for the David Keep lecture. Please aim to bring along a guest for a very entertaining and enthralling evening. It’s free for members and £8 for guests, but you need to book in advance. If you need any further persuasion, there is also free cake during the interval.
You should by now have received notification about our forthcoming AGM on Tuesday 24th May. During this, we have our election of committee members and office bearers for the year ahead. Your committee has been extremely successful in making Bromsgrove PS one of the most successful societies in the West Midlands, but we never believe in standing still. We always need new ideas and enthusiastic members on the committee, and there will be at least 2 vacancies for the new season. If you feel that you can contribute to the future of BPS then please put yourself forward. You will need someone to propose and second you, however, if you are still getting to know people, then please let me know and we will get that sorted for you.
This Tuesday, we have our Annual open Competition – Prints and PDI’s. Our judge is Louise Hill – a good friend of the society for many years. Good luck to everyone who has entered.
